The Voice: Rejoice along the way, in the not knowing and in the finding out.
The Word: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:14)

Which way? I choose, but don’t know the outcome. A dead end. Retrace my steps…or come out the other side. Once I enter it’s impossible to tell. Am I making progress or just going around and around. The walls leaning in on me. Towering above me. Refusing to give up what they know about the road ahead. I can’t even see where the turns are until I’m on top of them. Somehow I’m propelled forward. The path beckons me forward. I wouldn’t think of turning around and going back, for some reason. There is no sense of progress, but I still need to know where it leads. And even when I can’t go any further (I picked the dead end) there is a sense of satisfaction – at least I know what it was all about. Retrace my steps to get back to where I started and try another path.
